Louis Vuitton Cour Marly Bag in PM Size

Whenever I look at the new Louis Vuitton Cour Marly Bag, I can’t stop thinking about the City Steamer One Handle Bag. Perhaps it’s because of the color or the shape that’s quite similar. Or perhaps it’s the studs and the hardware that makes me think they’re somehow related. The Cour Marly Bag is introduced for the Fall Winter 2017 Collection and we think you will love it.

The Design

Louis Vuitton Cour Marly Bag in MM Size

Inspired by the Parisian elegance, the Courly Marly Bag is a two bag in one. Similar to the Capucines Bag, the flap can be positioned inside or outside, which can create a different look. The flap reminds me of the One Handle Bag, which is also made with a leather strap in the center.

The bag has a triangle shape when observed from the side. The front comes with the house’s signature S-lock. There is a key attached to the decorative chain on the side, which is attached to the side handle. This key can be used to open the S-Lock.

The Cour Marly Bag is anything but minimalistic. It’s elegant but also urban, the bottom is designed with little studs and the back is made with a zipped pocket for instant access to your necessities.

You can carry this bag in numerous of ways – grab the handles and tote it, or use the detachable strap for shoulder carry. The shoulder strap is short and might not be able to carry cross body. Furthermore, this bag is made from calfskin with calfskin lining.

The Interior

Because of the practical look and the spacious interior, this bag can be carried everyday. The interior comes with a large main compartment and a double pocket.

LOUIS VUITTON FUTURISTIC BAG

Louis Vuitton News

Louis-Vuitton-Futuristic-Bag-2

Is the futuristic bag the next big thing? Are we moving that fast in fashion? Well, we know that a lot of brands have started introducing futuristic handbags including Chanel. Now Louis Vuitton is catching this new wave. So for the Fall Winter 2017 Collection, meet LV’s version of futuristic design. It’s sophisticated, robotic and so different (for sure!).

The Design

Did this fresh design ‘WOW’ you when it was first released in the Fall Winter 2017 Ad Campaign or on the Runway? Well, the look is not as chic as the Monogram or Empreinte print, but maybe this design fits best with casual outfits.

The Louis Vuitton futuristic is sophisticated and built with tight lines and streamlined-shape. It’s made from embossed Epi leather, which is strong and luxurious leather. This futuristic print has been embellished on the iconic Speedy Bag, but also on the new-signature Twist Bag. There might be more styles available, but the basic principle of the print remains the same.

This futuristic print is built with multiple symbols on the bag. It reminds me of robots in Star wars and the buttons on spaceship. There is also an L and V logo printed in two separated colors. Some parts have remained the same like the original version like the handles on the speedy, the leather zip and the iconic lock. There is even a side-pocket in the exterior for instant-essentials.

The Sizes And Prices

The Louis Vuitton Futuristic print is embellished on different handbags like the Speedy Bag or on the Twist Bag. Each style has their own price tag.

Louis Vuitton Futuristic Speedy 25 Bag
Size: 5.9’ x 7.5’ x 9.8’ (L x H x W) inches
Prices: $2650 USD, $3250 CAD, €1900 euro, £1780 GBP, $22000 HKD, ¥313200 JPY, $3400 AUD.

Louis Vuitton City Steamer One Handle Bag

Sometimes a new idea is not entirely new. Sometimes you can take two concepts and put them together to create a new way of seeing things. Perhaps that’s how the Louis Vuitton City Steamer One Handle Bag is created for the Fall winter 2017 Collection. You see, not long ago we introduced the City Steamer Bag, which is now on its way to become the house’s classic. After that, Louis Vuitton releases the One Handle Bag, inspired by the historic trunkmaker. Now both of these bags have been melted together, clever isn’t?

Louis Vuitton One Handle Bag

The Design

The Louis Vuitton City Steamer One Handle Bag is just like the original City Steamer Bag. It’s a tote bag with the signature LV lock crafted in the center. The shape is the same as well, but there are also differences.

One of the biggest changes is the front flap and the iconic Torron handle. There is just ONE handle while the original City Steamer has two. The front flap and the Torron handle are both copied from the Louis Vuitton One Handle Bag.

Another surprising new addition is the chain for shoulder carry. It’s unexpected because the original City Steamer Bag as well as the One Handle Bag is both designed with leather strap. This chain short, but beautiful and adds an extra touch of luxury to the overall look. On the back of the bag, you will also find a zipped compartment in case you need instant access to your essentials. Behind the front flap, there is also a pocket with turnlock and loop for padlock.

This bag is made from Veau Perle, which is durable calf leather.

The Interior

One advantage of the City Steamer Bag is the well-structured and spacious interior. Inside you will find one large compartment and one double pocket to store your stuff.

The Sizes And Prices

This bag measures 9.8’ x 8.3’ x 3.9’ (L x H x W) inches and is priced at $4850 USD, $5800 CAD, €3400 euro, £3150 GBP, $35000 HKD, ¥32500 CNY, ¥540000 JPY via Louis Vuitton boutiques.

LOUIS VUITTON PONTHIEU BAG

Louis Vuitton News

Louis-Vuitton-Ponthieu-Bag

A lovely bag named after a small but historic place in France. Ponthieu is located in Northern France and it’s where the kings of France and England have fought in the past. Ponthieu has now merged to become part of the Picardy Province. So carrying this beautiful lady’s bag is like holding a piece of France’s history.

Introducing the Louis Vuitton Ponthieu Bag for the Fall Winter 2017 Collection. Let’s talk about the design, shall we?

The Design

The Ponthieu Bag is a functional and comfortable handbag that can become anyone’s everyday bag. Made from supple Monogram Empreinte, which is a luxurious cowhide. If you look closer, the Monogram is implemented very lightly on the leather; it’s flaunting but not screaming.

The leather makes this bag soft and supple. It does hold shape, but the top drops a bit down and it creates a ‘V’ shape. Furthermore, note the hoop detailing on the handles and the signature zip pulls, they are essential parts of the whole design.

The long handles make it easy to drop your shoulder, but it also comes with a long shoulder strap that can be removed anytime you want. Now let’s cover the spacious interior.

The Interior

Open the bag with the double-zip closure system, the interior provides an ample space. This is also why we think the Ponthieu Bag can become your favorite daily companion. Inside you will find one large compartment to store all your necessities and more. It also comes with an internal flat pocket.

The Sizes And Prices

There are two sizes available; the MM and PM size.

Louis Vuitton Ponthieu PM Bag
Size: 13.7’ x 9.8’ 5.3’ (L x H x W) inches/35 x 28 x 13.5 (L x H x W) cm
Prices: $2550 USD, $3200 CAD, $20900 HKD, $3350 AUD, ¥298080 JPY, ¥19500 CNY

Louis Vuitton Ponthieu MM Bag
